Final Piece Early Ideas

I had an idea to leave London to shoot my opening sequence, so as to find a more interesting and unique location for my final piece. The small coastal town of Swanage will act as the location and inspiration behind my piece. My grandparents own a small cottage on the 'point' of the quiet Southern bay. Swanage bay is entrenched in interesting historical tales and quirks and I think it would make a fantastic location for filming.

Furthermore, I discussed the soundtrack with my friend Louis, a music student and the composer of the theme to my preliminary. We decided an interesting direction to go down would be to mix an old, English fishing melody to the piece. We've considered mixing a version of the English folk tune 'When the Boat Comes in'. I feel the song fits with the feel and mood of the bay.
